It’s been a year since the Camp Fire accrued November 8th 2018. The fire took over 3 weeks to put out. The fire was caused by a transmission line owned and operated by PG& E of California. The fire consumed over 150,000 acres, and destroyed 18,000 building. More than 10 towns were affected in some way from this horrible fire. The Camp Fire is one of the most destructive and deadliest fires in California’s history. SERVPRO of Benton/Linn County was dispatched to go, and help assist other local SERVPRO’s with the clean- up effort. Over the 6 week period we were there we cleaned over 25 homes and building from smoke damage. Now that it’s been a year the people who were affected by the Camp Fire our still on our mind, and prayers.
