21 Wildfires Ignited Last Summer, Are you Prepared?

2020 Wild Fire Storms. Weather alignments came together at the perfect time and caused unprecedented catastrophe.
Per the Oregon Office of Emergency Management, 1,004,562 acres burnt in the state of Oregon. There were 21 total fires and 9 fatalities.
In Linn county alone we lost 71 homes and 122 other structures.
To this date we are still in recovery mode. The clean up and rebuild is in process is ongoing.
Summer is on its way and so is the threat of fire season here in Oregon again.
What we learned:
Many were awoken at the wee hours of the morning and asked to leave their homes with literally no time to think about what to grab.
Preparedness is of utmost importance. Having all of your important documentation in a secured location and ready to go is key. This would help in the aftermath efforts.
Key Items; Wallet, ID, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, House Documents & Insurance Documents, Money.
