La Niña Round Two Anticipated for the PNW!
11/17/2021 (Permalink)
La Niña is a world wide weather pattern and here in the PNW we are entering our second year of this pattern.
Here in the Pacific Northwest, La Niña typically results in wetter and cooler conditions over the winter period. This ultimately means very stormy conditions.
This past year, we started the winter with heavy winds. In just one day last winter we had 17 calls for trees on roofs from a major wind storm.
We then had a ice storm that put a freeze on the majority of the Willamette Valley. This type of freeze storm had not been seen in these parts for nearly 40 years. Thousands were without power and many for over a week time span.
Storm damage can include; wind, water, biohazard and fire. Call us, the professionals at SERVPRO when your property suffers from Storm Damage!
